About the role:

HolaCash is looking for a full stack engineer who will take on developing solutions end to end starting from React Native based UI to backend implementation. This position, in addition to being a code contributor will also lead one or more other team members in delivering the solution. We are looking for someone who enjoys the breadth of technology experience and has the ability and willingness to go end to end in delivering delightful customer experiences.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain fast, robust, and maintainable web components and applications written in React, React Native using Django based RESTful web services
• Participate in code reviews regularly to provide guidance to junior developers, ensure codebase quality
• Provide mentorship to junior developers through chat, pair programming, and on-going education.
• Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications

• Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software 

• Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process 

• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs

Some things we consider critical for this role:

• 4+ years of front-end engineering experience.
• Experience building robust React-based front-ends with Redux and/or hooks.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with Django/Flask
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR relevant equivalent technical experience.
• Bonus points for: Experience interacting with RESTful APIs and/or websockets APIs
